Greens

This group brings together a series of pale and middle greens whose origins lie in the decorative traditions of the Georgian, Regency and later nineteenth centuries. Colours of this kind were widely employed in domestic interiors, where they provided a restrained counterpoint to stone colours, ochres and stronger reds. Their muted appearance and mineral character are reminiscent of the soft greens encountered in historic distempers, limewashes and painted surfaces, many of which derived their distinctive qualities from the nature of the pigments themselves.

All paints are bespoke and handmade to order. Please allow 2–3 working days from order placement before dispatch.
