Expert Paint Colour Matching

At Rose of Jericho, we provide a professional colour matching service for historic buildings, interiors and decorative finishes. Whether you are recreating a heritage paint scheme, matching an existing finish or reproducing a cherished colour, our laboratory can formulate an accurate match for use in our traditional paint ranges.

We can match almost any physical colour sample, including:

• Historic paint scrapes and flakes
• Paint swatches or painted card
• Painted timber, plaster or masonry
• Wallpaper fragments
• Fabrics and textiles
• Ceramics
• Natural materials
• Decorative objects
• Even unusual items such as fruit or teddy bears
• If it has a colour, our expert colourmen can usually match it, although some intense, dark colours may not be achievable using powder pigments Imin traditional bases.

How it Works

Please send your physical sample to our laboratory at Horchester Farm with ancovering letter outlining the paint type you wish the colour to be matched in. To achieve the most accurate result we require a physical, representative sample rather than photographs, as lighting, cameras and screens can significantly alter colour perception.

Once received, our team will assess the sample and produce a bespoke colour match for manufacture in your chosen Rose of Jericho paint.

Turnaround

Our standard turnaround time is 1–2 weeks from receipt of your sample.

Price

£80.00 per colour match

This includes the colour matching process and formulation, along with a 250ml sample pot. Paint is supplied separately.
