Mixing Paddles
Mixing Paddles
The small paddle has a round shank making it easily compatible with a small hand drill for whisking limewash or knocking up very small batches of lime mortar or plaster for repairs.
The larger paddles are fitted with an SDS Plus fixing, making them easy to connect to your equipment. They are zinc-plated, high-quality steel with a two-blade design. The round ring is ideal for churning lime mortars and plasters without clogging or compressing a stiffer mix unlike other brands available on the market.
The SDS paddles are versatile enough to tackle plaster, render, Prompt, lime mortar and limewash. These paddles are fully welded and sturdy.

How to use
Use the small paddle in a standard hand drill for whisking limewash or mixing small repair batches of mortar or plaster. The medium and large SDS Plus paddles fit straight into an SDS rotary drill for mixing larger volumes of plaster, render, lime mortar, Prompt cement, or limewash.
The open ring design is the key feature: it churns stiffer mixes without compressing or clogging like a flat-bladed paddle would - keeps lime materials properly aerated.
Care
Rinse thoroughly in clean water immediately after use, before any material starts to set. Knock off any cured residue with a stiff brush - never let mortar harden on the paddle. Dry before storing to protect the zinc plating.
