March 2024 Job Vacancy – Yardsman

Due to an increase in demand in our mortar yard we are seeking to recruit a dynamic and motivated full time yardsman to join our growing team of building conservation professionals.

Reporting to the senior yardsman duties will include mixing lime mortars, slaking lime, bagging aggregates and mortars, crushing and sieving stonedusts, loading lorries, monitoring stocks and maintaining a clean working environment.

Candidates will receive full training but previous experience of site work, mortar mixing or the building industry would be an advantage.  The job will involve lifting and a degree of manual labour.  The ability to drive a forklift and telehandler would as be beneficial.
