Our English White Tallow is a premium, refined animal fat specifically prepared for use as a traditional additive in lime-based coatings. When incorporated into limewash, it creates Tallow Limewash—a historically accurate, high-performance exterior finish that has been used for centuries to protect cob, stone, and brickwork from the elements.
The addition of tallow transforms a standard limewash from a simple decorative coating into a durable, water-shedding "skin" that is particularly effective on exposed elevations subject to heavy wind-driven rain.
